RN Infusion - Per Diem Nurse
About The Position
UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Center team at Beaver Dam Hospital in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. The nurse will work with a collaborative team to provide compassionate, expert care to patients with a range of conditions, including cancer and immunodeficiency. The position involves safely administering chemotherapy, medication infusions, IV antibiotics, and blood transfusions; developing specialized expertise in apheresis treatments; and building therapeutic relationships with patients and families. This is a per diem, as-needed position with 8-hour shifts starting between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. Hours vary according to departmental operational needs. The schedule includes weekend and holiday rotations. The role is performed onsite at the Infusion Center at Beaver Dam Hospital.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of relevant clinical experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, or hold a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact, upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Recent oncology experience.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Chemotherapy certification.
