About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital is seeking a PRN RN for their Infusion Center. This role involves providing comprehensive, high-quality infusion services for acute and chronic conditions, including IV antibiotics, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products. The RN will assist in delivering exceptional patient care, administer injections, perform medical procedures, and provide healthcare information to patients and their families. The position offers flexible PRN shift options to accommodate various lifestyles, including staggered start times and flexible shift lengths. The role requires working Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
External applicants: two years of recent nursing experience
Internal Applicants: if less than two years’ experience but post orientation/90-day probationary period could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Will consider licensed military RN experience

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Ultrasound-guided IV experience
Critical care background

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
