About The Position

As an RN in our Infusion Therapy department, you will provide specialized care to patients receiving IV medications, biologics, and other infusion treatments. Requirements
- Current Illinois RN license required
- BLS certification required (training available upon hire)
- Strong procedural skills, attention to detail, and patient monitoring abilities
- Excellent clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to patient needs
- Effective communication and patient education skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, treatment-focused environment
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in infusion, oncology, rheumatology, or procedural care
Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusions, medications, and biologic therapies according to provider orders and clinic protocols, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
- Monitor patients closely for adverse reactions and intervene promptly as needed.
- Provide thorough patient education on therapy plans, medication schedules, and potential side effects.
- Maintain meticulous documentation in the EMR, including treatment details, vital signs, and patient responses.
- Collaborate with providers, pharmacists, and support staff to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to anticipate patient needs, troubleshoot complications, and adjust care plans within scope of practice.
