RN Informatics Specialist - MCHS
About The Position
This position will support the Mayo Clinic Health System Department of Nursing with the expectation to collaborate across the Enterprise, as appropriate. The role provides clinical information system leadership, assists with the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements, and participates in the development and pursuance of the organization's vision and strategic plan related to clinical informatics. The specialist will assist with communication between Mayo Clinic Health System, Mayo Health System, and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendor. This role facilitates communication of functionality and process adoption procedures in a complex clinical environment, understanding clinical end-user and registered nurse job responsibilities and analyzing the impact on workflows in hospital settings.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Successful TN sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
