About The Position

WEO RN IMCU position at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, NC. This is a Part Time 0.6 position with a night shift. WEO employees will be required to work two 12-hour shifts per weekend, with the weekend starting Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. and ending Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. Employees must maintain competencies for chosen work areas, with initial competencies (including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and other required certifications) needing completion within 90 days for continued employment. Paid call time will be at the prescribed base rate.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina RN License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS required in ICU, L&D, IMCU, Telemetry, PACU, ASU, EU and Emergency Department.
• NRP required in Nursery, L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics.
• EFM required for L&D, Postpartum, and Pediatrics.
• STABLE required for Nursery.
• PALS required in Pediatrics, ICU, PACU, ASU and Emergency Department.
• NIH required IMCU, ICU, and Emergency Department.
• One year of clinical experience for charge responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work two 12-hour shifts per weekend.
• Maintain competencies for areas chosen for work.
• Complete initial competencies within 90 days, including BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and any other certifications required in specific clinical areas.
• Fulfill charge responsibilities (requires one year of clinical experience).

Benefits

• Paid call time will be at the prescribed base rate, which is defined as the standard, non-WEO base hourly rate for RNs, including appropriate experience pay.
