As our Cardiac Telemetry Nurse, you’ll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.Every day you will provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric. You will adeptly manage more complex patient situations with assistance and supervision, and actively assist in overseeing patient care administered by other nursing staff. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Three (3) years of current, acute care, Med-Surg or Telemetry experience
  • Registered Nurse: CA
  • Basic Life Support - BLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS

Nice To Haves

  • Eighteen (18) months of Step Down level experience preferred over Telemetry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric.
  • Adeptly manage more complex patient situations with assistance and supervision.
  • Actively assist in overseeing patient care administered by other nursing staff.
  • Provide care to patients admitted to the unit, many of whom are funneled in from other units.
  • Build on education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.
