Requirements

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
Texas RN license
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
2+ years RN in Operating Room
Singe service line
Proven basic computer skills
Driver’s License and access to a reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
RN experience in Pre-Op, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), Emergency Room (ER), Infusion Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) or hospital setting

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a proficiency in delivering high quality age specific patient care
Develop effective working relationships with all members of the ASC and Clinic
Communicate information effectively, appropriately, and with courtesy regarding patient conditions to those who require the information including, physicians, anesthesia, management, staff, patients, families, and visitors
Perform safe and competent operative nursing care according to the organization’s policy & procedures
Perform safe and competent operating room nursing care according to the organization’s policy & procedures & AORN (Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses) standards and or ASPAN (American Society of Peri Anesthesia Nursing) standards
