About The Position
This is a travel RN position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a 12-bed unit, requiring close monitoring and the execution of intensive medical interventions. The position utilizes the Meditech EMR system.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS & NIH.
- Competency in ventilator and IV gtt management.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with Meditech preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients in critical condition.
- Perform procedures such as dialysis line insertion, arterial line insertions, cardioversion, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions.
