About The Position
Registered Nurse needed for ICU unit. The role involves managing critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment, requiring critical thinking skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- Driver's license required for submission verification.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
- Pass a 90% pass/fail open book exam during orientation.
- Artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old with various trauma injuries.
- Titrate drips for vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics.
- Operate and monitor equipment such as CVPs, IABP and Impella, Alines, Swans, EV-1000, and perform ICP monitoring.
- Interpret telemetry strips using Draeger heart monitors.
