About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff RN to join its hospital-based team. The role uses specialized nursing training and knowledge to provide care through a multidisciplinary approach. Nurses at MultiCare participate in clinical decision-making and are supported through open communication, professional development, and a shared commitment to quality patient care. The position is per diem, with variable shifts and 12-hour schedules.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
• Certification in a specialty area.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
• Use nursing education and experience to provide care through the nursing process, following hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
