The ICU at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is a 20 bed unit with a patient population of critically ill adults who may require life support. These patients can be medical or cardiovascular requiring intensive care trained RN's. Plans, directs, participates in and evaluates patient care. Collaborates with other disciplines to provide optimal care in the Intensive Care Unit as a Registered Nurse. Working in the ICU at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center offers nurses the opportunity to build advanced clinical skills in a truly high‑acuity environment. Unlike smaller units - where RNs are often floated and may see less complex cases - our ICU provides consistent, hands‑on experience with critically ill patients, promoting faster professional growth and deeper clinical confidence. ICU nurses here also participate in the Rapid Response Team, gaining invaluable exposure to hospital‑wide emergencies and sharpening their ability to manage urgent situations.
