About The Position
The Cardiac ICU (CICU) Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive cardiac care for patients in a high acuity 8-bed unit. The unit specializes in receiving patients from the Cath Lab, ED, and Acute Care who require advanced monitoring and treatment. Nurses collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
- PALS if working in the pediatric unit.
- AL or Compact License (No temporary licenses accepted).
- Minimum of 18 months experience, with at least 1 year in the cardiac ICU specialty.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring and recording clinical conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care plans.
- Be prepared to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
