RN ICU FT Weekend Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Baptist Health Floyd. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with a focus on Weekend Only Work (WOW) shifts, specifically nights (7pm-7am). The role involves direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The ICU is a 16-bed adult medical unit caring for critically ill patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, shock states, multi-organ failure, and respiratory failure. New graduate RNs are welcome. This position offers premium pay for WOW shifts and is eligible for a sign-on bonus for experienced external candidates.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
- NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
