About The Position

The RN in the ICU is responsible for providing care to critically ill patients, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for compliance with the 50-mile radius rule.
• RNs must pass an open-book exam during orientation, achieving a score of 90% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with trauma, cardiac conditions, and respiratory distress.
• Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed.
• Read, interpret, and document monitor strips.
• Float to PCU and occasionally MedSurg as required.
