About The Position
The Nursing Care Coordinator is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to patients or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff, as well as coordinating care with other healthcare disciplines.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated experience in nursing care provision and management.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as per established standards and guidelines.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and direct nursing staff within the assigned team.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Apply critical thinking and professional judgment in daily operations and patient assessments.
