About The Position

Registered Nurse assignment in a 14-bed adult ICU in Mattoon, Illinois. The unit cares for patients age 16 and older with conditions including sepsis, shock, DKA, acute kidney injury, vascular conditions, and strokes, and provides care for patients requiring ventilators or tracheostomies. Nurses are trained to care for patients using Impellas, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT); the facility uses the Prismax system. The nurse may be asked to float to the PCU or medical-surgical unit.

This assignment is listed as starting ASAP and lasts 29 weeks, with three 12-hour night shifts. Estimated total pay is $2,556 per week, consisting of estimated taxable pay of $1,296 per week and estimated non-taxable stipends of $1,260 per week.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience.
• Illinois RN license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.

Nice To Haves

• CCRN certification preferred.
