About The Position

This Registered Nurse position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) revolves around providing direct, high-quality care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include conducting thorough assessments, formulating nursing diagnoses, and developing tailored care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, which are regularly updated based on the patient's evolving condition. Critical care nurses play a pivotal role in communicating patient changes to physicians promptly and participating in continuous professional development to stay current with ICU standards. Requirements

  • American Heart Association ACLS within 4 months of hire
  • American Heart Association BLS within 30 days of hire
  • PALS within 1 year of hire
  • Minimum of two years of recent ICU experience or complete a hospital designated critical care course within six month of hire
  • Trauma training that meets state approved criteria within one year of hire
  • Current Minnesota RN license

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 2 years prior Critical Care experience
