About The Position
The Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. This role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the applicable state.
- Proven experience in nursing, demonstrating an understanding of the nursing process.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate patient care needs and outcomes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care tailored to the needs of patients in alignment with established care standards.
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to assess and implement patient care plans.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
- Apply professional and supervisory discretion in decision-making processes.
- Document patient progress and care outcomes in accordance with facility protocols.
