RN - ICU - Days
About The Position
The RN - ICU provides nursing care to all patient populations in the department, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care. The nurse maintains regulatory compliance in individual practice and assumes responsibility, accountability, and authority for the outcomes of nursing care. The role includes guiding and directing assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care and contributing positively to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time position at Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, Illinois, scheduled for 36 hours per week on a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with rotating weekends. Travel is not required.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- At least one year of current hospital nursing experience is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- At least one year of current hospital nursing experience preferred.
