About The Position

This role involves assisting the Director with administrative and clinical leadership for the ICU/Stepdown unit. The position requires planning, coordinating, and managing personnel and resources to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Key responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, developing and implementing clinical education programs, and fostering a positive work environment to retain staff. The role also involves maintaining confidentiality, participating in the development of the Nursing Department's vision and goals, and managing clinical services for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for staff selection, development, motivation, and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Current active RN license in the State of Ohio required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS required.
  • Must be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance processes.
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
  • 3-5 years of nursing experience
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience

  • BSN or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, implementation, and evaluation of clinical services to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Responsible for the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of staff.
