About The Position

The Heart Hospital - Plano is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Universal Bed CUB Unit, which covers ICU, PCU, and TELE patients. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts, from 6:45 am to 7:15 pm. The role involves overseeing patient care through a professional practice model, including patient assessment, identifying health issues, developing care plans, and evaluating patient responses. The nurse will also be responsible for securing patient travel, understanding patient healthcare needs, assisting patients, and preventing issues. Adherence to the Texas Nursing Practice Act and appropriate delegation of tasks based on patient condition and team competencies are essential.

Requirements

Graduated from an Accredited Program with a specialized field of study in nursing.
RN license.
BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.
2 years or more of RN bedside ICU or PCU experience.
Cardiac experience is highly preferred.
