About The Position

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to a group of patients for a designated time frame and will routinely lead a team of care providers. This role is responsible to the Director of ICU.

Requirements

• Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree
• Current registration with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association PALS within 6 months of hire
• 1 - 2 years previous critical care experience preferred
• Background Check
• Lab Work
• Immunization Records
• Ability to talk to patient and/or staff – continually
• Ability to hear patients and/or alarms – continually
• Vision (near and/or far) – continually
• Ability to distinguish colors – continually
• Bloodborne Exposure – Continually
• Respirator Fit Testing Required Annually

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 2 years previous critical care experience
