About The Position
Worldwide Medical Staffing is a Native-Veteran-owned staffing agency with a 30-year service history with US Government Hospitals. We are actively seeking a full-time MICU-ICU Registered Nurse in San Diego, CA for the San Diego Veterans Hospital to join our team! This is a Full-Time Contract position for 13 or 26 weeks, with both Days & Nights available and Jan 2025 Start Dates.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN license from ANY State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in direct patient care for ICU-MICU-Stepdown.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in specialty (e.g., CCRN, TNCC) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions in the ICU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
