About The Position

This role involves providing professional nursing care to patients across all age groups in a 20-bed PCU specializing in trauma surgery patients. Four beds are dedicated for an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and two beds are equipped for Chronic Ventilator patients. The RN will support patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements

Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.
Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
AHA BLS-HCP required.
Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
For Behavioral Health roles, must demonstrate ability to safely manage disruptive or potentially violent patients.
