The RN - House Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating unit staffing and providing leadership to ensure the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in their assigned area. This role involves assigning, directing, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff during their shift, as well as contributing to performance evaluations. The House Supervisor will assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute patient care assignments, and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, addressing any issues that affect desired patient outcomes. They will also respond to complaints about patient care and manage them through established channels, potentially providing input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating staff.
