As an RN House Supervisor, you’ll serve as a key resource across the hospital—connecting teams, supporting staff, and ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (or actively pursuing)
• Several years of acute care nursing experience required
• BLS required
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to lead in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Confidence in managing complex patient flow and staffing decisions

Nice To Haves

• Prior charge nurse, supervisor, or leadership experience strongly preferred
• ACLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee bed placement and patient movement throughout the hospital to ensure efficient, safe, and timely care
• Coordinate across nursing units, ED, surgical services, and ancillary departments to maintain smooth hospital operations
• Adjust staffing levels based on patient acuity and census; collaborate with leaders to ensure appropriate coverage
• Provide hands-on support during high-acuity or urgent situations and serve as a clinical resource to staff
• Respond to real-time challenges, patient concerns, and operational issues with sound judgment and urgency
• Act as the on-site administrative resource, offering direction, support, and coordination to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
