About The Position
Nemours is seeking a RN (Operating Room) to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida. Three 12-hour shifts 6:45pm-7:15am, with a weekend rotation. Holiday call is required with a 30-minute response time. Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children’s Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area’s only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. A hospital designed by families for families, Nemours Children’s Hospital blends the healing power of nature with the latest in healthcare innovation to deliver world-class care to the children of Central Florida and beyond. In keeping with our goal of bringing Nemours care into the communities we serve, we also provide specialty outpatient care in several clinics located throughout the region.
Requirements
- ASN required
- Active Florida or multi-state RN license, required
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience required
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Valid American Heart Association PALS (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- National certification in area of clinical specialty
- Experience in pediatric specialty area
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room.
- Participate in weekend rotation.
- Respond to holiday call within 30 minutes.
