About The Position

We're seeking a self-motivated Registered Nurse to serve as a Hospital Liaison for a mission-driven hospice organization. In this role, you'll connect patients and families with compassionate end-of-life care by building relationships with referral sources and educating medical professionals about hospice services. You'll combine clinical expertise with empathetic communication and relationship-building skills to identify new patient referrals, maintain referral partnerships, and grow patient census across hospitals and medical facilities in your territory.

Requirements

Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license
Minimum 1 year of sales/marketing experience in healthcare
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare
1–2 years of hospice or palliative care marketing experience

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, case managers, discharge planners, social workers, and facility staff
Conduct regular, planned outreach to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities to secure new referrals and meet established growth goals
Provide initial patient and family consultations, explaining hospice services and philosophy, and obtaining care consent
Position the organization as the preferred hospice provider in the service area
Assess patient eligibility for services based on clinical knowledge and training
Develop marketing strategies and contracts with clinical staff and healthcare partners
