About The Position

Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. The RN – Hospice shall be responsible to systematically collect patient specific data necessary to determine patient plan of care, and to document accurately and promptly. The RN will teach and counsel patients and families regarding care. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience
• Reliable transportation
• Agency-required liability insurance
• Driver’s license valid in the State of Alabama
• Acceptable driving record
• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with relevant computer software
• Strong team leadership skills
• Strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
• Strong written and oral communication skills
