The Visiting Nurse Association of the Treasure Coast is seeking a Per Diem RN to work in our Hospice House. Situated on a 4.2-acre secluded site, the Hospice House is surrounded by lush foliage, a pond with waterfall, a gazebo and numerous meditation areas. The VNA Hospice House, a unique blend of beauty and function, is the only in-patient hospice facility in Indian River County, for those facing life-limiting illnesses. Each of the 12 private bedrooms is completely handicapped accessible and has a private bath, sleeping accommodations for overnight family visitors, and screened patio with doors wide enough to allow bed access.
Requirements
- Must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of Florida.
- Must have at least two years acute care or Hospice experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintains the most up-to-date knowledge of symptom management.
- Maintains compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work with diversified groups of people.
- Attends and participates in meeting pertinent to job responsibilities.
- Participates in VNA Hospice orientation and in-service training programs for professional staff.
- Participates in agency and community programs as requested, to promote professional growth and understanding of Hospice care.
- Promotes customer service.
