Join Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world class, and caregivers are family. Here, you will work alongside a passionate and dedicated team, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Electrophysiology Laboratory, you will blend the roles of a procedural/OR nurse and a floor nurse within a highly specialized and collaborative environment. The Electrophysiology Lab focuses on the treatment of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders, including pacemaker and ICD implantation, ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, and other advanced procedures. Our program continues to grow with the addition of a new procedural room, expanding our lab to 10 rooms and supporting increasing patient volume. Currently, we average approximately 7,000 cases per year and are actively involved in multiple research studies, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a cutting-edge hybrid operating room to support complex cases. This position is well suited for nurses new to Electrophysiology who are eager to expand their skill set in a dynamic, technology-driven specialty. Prior EP, cardiac or ICU experience is welcome but not required. Nurses with experience in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring—from a variety of nursing backgrounds will find many of their skills to translate well into the EP setting. All new team members participate in a comprehensive 12-week orientation, designed to provide hands-on procedural experience, strong clinical foundations, and ongoing support as you transition into the EP role. Our RNs work closely with electrophysiologists and the anesthesia team to deliver high-quality, patient–centered cases in a fast–paced and innovative environment. A caregiver in this position works 3x13-hour shifts, no on-call or holiday requirements. Schedule during orientation: 7:00am—5:30pm (4x10s).
