About The Position

The RN is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team and as such is responsible for providing patient care visits, assessing medical needs, liaising with physicians, attending deaths, triage calls, and assisting with the admission process. The RN must have an understanding that hospice care must be delivered according to accepted standards of practice, guided by the mission of the organization and the patient/family's needs and concerns, the RN blends all services of the hospice into an integrated program of support. This position offers night differential, mileage reimbursement, and an amazing benefits package. Nurses take their time and have incredible amounts of 1:1 time to coach and educate patients and families in our care.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted AR, OK, or compact RN license
• BLS certification
• Strong assessment skills with critical thinking
• High level of problem solving within a healthcare facility
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to stay calm and cope with human suffering/emergencies
• Computer charting experience
• Use of personal vehicle
• Valid driver's license
• Current auto insurance
