University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN Home Health nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in the comfort of their homes in Wayne, MI. Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous experience in home health nursing or related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Wayne, MI area.
- CPR certification and other relevant healthcare certifications as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely according to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with infection control procedures and safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance care quality.
