About The Position

Phoenix is hiring a Home Health Registered Nurse for weekend on-call admissions in Springfield, Branson, Missouri, and surrounding areas. The RN is the first point of contact between a patient and hospital and uses physical assessment, diagnostic interpretation, and communication skills to develop an individualized plan of care based on physician orders and the initial assessment. The nurse works alongside other nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists. Phoenix says its nurses complete charting during visits with support from Roger’s AI-powered system, helping them work efficiently and maintain work-life balance.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Missouri or a compact-state license.
• Driver’s license and vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising the plan of care.
• Provide nursing care in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment and the individual plan of care, as authorized by the client’s payer source.
• Observe, record, and report reactions to treatment and changes in the client’s condition to appropriate personnel and/or the physician.
• Provide ongoing instruction and supervision to the client, family, or other health team personnel regarding the plan of treatment.
• Participate in education programs, quality assessment activities, nurses’ meetings, and other staff meetings as required.
• Monitor and record the patient’s condition and document care services using electronic charting.
