About The Position

The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses. Requirements

Min of 3 years of RN experience and prior GI or procedural experience required
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.
Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
Effective communication skills, along with social aptitude for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills is crucial.
Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.
Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.

Nice To Haves

A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a (1) one year would suffice.
