About The Position

Our Mission: We are called to make a healthy difference in people’s lives. Come be a part of our accomplished team in Duluth, Minnesota, on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior! We are currently hiring an RN for our Level 16 General Medical Unit at St Mary's Medical Center! At Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Medical Center, we’re northern Minnesota’s largest hospital, with 380 beds. We are also a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 24-hour emergency care and critical care.

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Responsibilities

Organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Being a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions.
Contributing to meeting the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serve the community in which you live.
Meeting the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
