RN - Gastroenterology - Torrey Pines Clinic
About The Position
This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. No call or weekend shifts. Located at the Torrey Pines Clinic in La Jolla (3 days/week) and remote (2 days/week), and will support other sites remotely. We cover several sub-specialties including IBD clinic and hepatology.
Requirements
- CA RN license
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- BLS required from American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- 5+ years of experience as RN
- Critical care experience
- 1+ years RN experience in an outpatient setting
- BSN
- GI and/or hepatology experience
- Epic experience
Responsibilities
- Mainly administrative position taking calls and managing patient care through Epic.
- Work with advanced care team handling complex GI cases.
- Ensure Scripps's patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including: compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
- Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
