RN for Group Home Part Time
About The Position
RN to work in Group Home Setting Part Time 20 hours per week Are you a dedicated nursing professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? At the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Residential team. In this role, you’ll be a key part of an interdisciplinary team supporting the health and well-being of the individuals we serve. You will coordinate and monitor medical services, administer medications, provide staff training, and maintain vital relationships with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Rhode Island Nursing license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel between sites using your vehicle
- Comfortable lifting at least 25 pounds and assisting with client transfers
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care, training, and oversight in residential settings
- Monitor medications and maintain accurate health records
- Coordinate services with medical professionals and families
- Assist with the training of agency staff in areas such as medication administration, CPR/First Aid, and Safety Care
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and safety initiatives
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and agency policies
