About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic’s annual Flu Program and play a vital role in protecting the health and safety of our caregivers and patients. This temporary opportunity is perfect for RNs who are committed to making a meaningful impact during flu season. We are currently hiring: Registered Nurses (RNs): at $37/hour Location Support While all caregivers must be available to work at all Florida Hospital Campuses (divided between North Region and South Region), floating will be required between their local ambulatory sites Shift & Schedule Details: A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is required Hospital Campus hours: 5:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (8 or 12-hour shifts) Ambulatory locations hours: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts) Saturday shifts will be required

Requirements

  • Must have a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hire.
  • Must have Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
  • Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
  • Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.
  • Requires full range of range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  • Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
  • Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees and community.
  • Administers influenza vaccinations.
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
  • Complies with the influenza prevention program, which will include obtaining an influenza vaccination on an annual basis or obtaining an approved exemption.
