About The Position
As our Float Registered Nurse (RN) on our Float Team, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care that supports our patients' well-being and recovery, with a positive attitude and reliability. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You will be expected to collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. To be successful in this role, you must possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Your sense of urgency and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment will not only support patient recovery but also fuel your own career advancement. This position floats to 2 levels of care in 1-2 facilities and is paid a 15% differential (of the base hourly rate). We are offering $10k relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing
- Two years of general RN care experience
- Registered Nurse: AZ
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) N/A within 12 - months
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) N/A within 12 - months
- Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) N/A within 12 - months
- Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Course (TNATC) N/A within 12 - months
Nice To Haves
- Two years of medical/surgical, progressive care or critical care experience.

Responsibilities
- Performs assessment/data collection in an ongoing systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement, and patient advocacy.
- Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes.
- Implements care in a thorough, skillful, and consistent manner.
- Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of care given by health care team members.
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff, and providers.
