About The Position
Administers, directs, and coordinates inter- and intra-departmental activities. Work is performed in accordance with Kentucky regulations for Registered Nurses, established hospital standards, nursing department/unit structure, process and outcome standards, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and the philosophy, goals and objectives of the hospital, nursing and education services.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or compact state license required.
- BLS required.
- ACLS is required within 3 months, not to exceed 6 months from date of hire.
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification required 3 months from date of hire.
- Avade workplace violence prevention training ( Level III) required after hire or transfer, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer at least 2 years Med/Surg experience.
