About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Float Pool. The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and experience in an acute care facility is preferred. Specific licenses and certifications are required, including RN licensure in the state of practice, CPR/BLS certification, Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification, and potentially ACLS and NRP depending on the department.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AWHONN
- NRP
