RN Float Pool - MedSurg Tele - Mercy Hospitals - Days
About The Position
This is a Full Time, 12 hour shifts RN opportunity, working Day Shift (0700 to 1930) in our MedSurg Tele Float Pool between our Mercy Hospitals (San Diego and Chula Vista). No call is required, some weekend shifts. The Site-Based Float Pool at Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista provides essential nursing support to MedSurg Tele units. Nurses enjoy flexibility, teamwork, and leadership support while floating between units. As a MedSurg Tele RN, you'll join a skilled team focused on delivering excellent care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, while evaluating progress towards outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for patient care and collaborates with the care team to ensure optimal results in a family-centered environment. Position is eligible for New Hire Retention Incentive up to $7K.
Requirements
- Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
- Active California RN license
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Certifications
- 2 years of recent adult RN experience in acute care
- Must be willing to float to other units
- Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Epic experience
- 2 years RN experience in Telemetry
