About The Position

Supporting excellence in patient and family-centered care, the Site Based Float Pool provides critical nursing support to our MedSurg/Tele Units at the Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista hospitals. As a Float Pool MedSurg/Tele RN at Mercy Hospitals, you will thrive in an environment where teamwork and leadership support is strong and our nurses enjoy the ability to float to different units and have flexibility with their work schedules. As a Registered Nurse working in the Float Pool at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista, you’ll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active California RN license
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Certifications
• 2 years of recent adult RN experience in acute care
• Must be willing to float to other units
• Be able to speak, read and following instructions in English
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Epic experience
• 2 years RN experience in Telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing support to MedSurg/Tele Units.
• Float between Scripps Mercy San Diego and Chula Vista Hospitals.
• Float to different units as needed.
