About The Position

Providence is calling for applications for our June 2026 RN Case Management Fellowship at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance Hospital. An RN Fellow at Providence St Joseph Health will experience a guided transition into their new specialty through structured curriculum, experienced preceptors and hands-on learning. If you are an RN ready to transition to a new specialty and have more than 12 months of continuous RN work experience, the Providence Clinical Academy is for you. The position starts June 15, 2026 Day shift available The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient centric care management services for at risk patients in an acute care environment. Accountabilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management and/or review, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance and patient advocacy. The goal of the Inpatient Care Management RN is to ensure the use of appropriate healthcare resources throughout the continuum, so that the care provided is the right care, at the right time, in the in the right setting. Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • 2 years of Acute care experience in a Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting
  • More than 12 months of continuous RN work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher within 3 years of hire
  • Case Management Certification (ACM or CCM) upon hire
  • Successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program within 1 year of hire.
