Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience preferred. Tier 2: Postpartum experience required. Labor experience preferred. Special Care Nursery (SCN) experience preferred. Tier 3: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Special Care Nursery (SCN), Intermediate Care Nursery (ICN), or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience required. Labor experience preferred. Must complete labor orientation and competency training as needed. .75 FTE (60 hours per two-week pay period) 8- and 12-hour night shift Every 3rd weekend rotation Job Description: Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family. As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient’s care needs. Provides care to the obstetrics patients and their families during the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum period.
