About The Position
Registered Nurse needed for the Emergency Room at John Randolph Medical Center. The unit has 22 beds and operates with a team including a charge nurse, nurses, a secretary, and tech/medic. Patient ratios are 1:4, and the facility uses Meditech EMR.
Requirements
- Strong IV skills for adults and pediatric patients
- Excellent communication skills
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & CPI certifications
Responsibilities
- Cardioversion
- Central line placements
- Managing cardiac arrests
- IV insertions and EKGs
- Pacemaker interrogation
- Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols
- Suture/abscess setup
