About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) will provide care for patients in a fast-paced trauma environment. The role requires expertise in managing acute and subacute cases, including trauma and burns while ensuring compliance with unit procedures and maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license with a minimum of 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to meet hospital and unit's specific competencies and skill requirements, including SIMs lab skills and management of sterile fields.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and revise treatment plans based on patient status and needs.
