RN II in the Emergency Department responsible for providing age-appropriate care service to a diverse patient demographic, demonstrating expertise and adeptness in handling emergency situations with precision and professionalism.

• Expertise and adeptness in handling emergency situations
• Accurate and continued nursing documentation
• Meeting expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements
• Monitoring hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interpreting the results
• Performing head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments per policy
• Preparing, administering, monitoring, and discontinuing IV fluids
• Providing a professional environment and professional appearance

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care service appropriate to the age of the patients/individuals served.
• Maintains accurate and continued nursing documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments, responses and assessment of changes.
• Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements.
• Monitors hemodynamic status of patient and correctly interprets the results.
• Performs head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments per policy.
• Prepares, administers, monitors, and discontinues IV fluids.
• Provides a professional environment and professional appearance while on hospital grounds.
• Willingly performs other duties and innovations as assigned.
