About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the directions of healthcare professionals. The nurse should be experienced in handling Trauma Level 1 cases and should demonstrate proficiency in maintaining a sterile field.
Requirements
- 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience required.
- Travel teams must have their own vehicles.
- Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings.
- Men must be clean-shaven for fit test.
- BSN not required.
- Licensure required for submission.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's conditions.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Provide care during emergency situations and perform life-saving procedures.
